Points per answer tier

| Schooler | 30 | A correct, reasonably common answer. |
| Rare | 60 | An answer that few players give. |
| Deep Cut | 85 | Very uncommon; most of the field never gets here. |
| One in a Krillion | 100 | The single highlighted answer for the prompt. |
A missed round scores 0. Seven rounds at 100 gives the maximum 700.

What does a good Krillion score look like?
450 or more reaches the top band. That is an average of about 64 points per round, so mostly Rares with a couple of Deep Cuts. Seven Schoolers make 210 (Schooler band). Four Rares and three Schoolers make 330 (Rare band). You don't need the 100-point answer to reach the top band.
