The rules
- 7 prompts a day. Every player gets the same seven prompts.
- 25 seconds per prompt. Name one thing that fits. One valid answer finishes the round.
- Rarer is better. Each accepted answer falls into a tier from Plankton (10 points) to One in a Krillion (100). See scoring.
- 700 is perfect. Seven rounds at 100 points each. Your total also shows as how deep your diver sank.
When does Krillion reset?
The daily dive changes at midnight New York time (America/New_York, so it follows US Eastern daylight saving). If a tab stays open across midnight, the old dive can no longer score and you need to reload. Our home page shows a live countdown and today's dive number.
Dive numbers
Dive #1 was July 16, 2026 (New York date). The number goes up by one each day. Look up any date on the archive page.
How answers are judged
According to the official FAQ, each answer set is built by merging and cleaning reference data such as dictionaries and encyclopedias. Rarity is scored against how often a word or name turns up in what people read and write. Where that can't be measured, the creator uses model assistance plus a manual pass.
Autocorrect is generous because many answers have aliases. A guess one or two letters off an alias can match an answer you didn't expect, so type carefully. Tips for this are on the hints page.
Sharing your result
When you finish, the results screen gives a shareable summary of your dive. You can open each round there to see the full answer set.
Other ways to play
Besides the daily dive there is the Archive for past dives, an endless Unlimited mode, and themed packs. What's free and what's paid: Unlimited and themed packs.
